Meet Dr. David Odom. He is just turning 70 and began yoga in August of 2011 to help straighten his back after years of road biking and habitual poor posture.
David began with private lessons and is now seen at Heart Stream yoga for at least 1 class every day. He has jumped in and embraced his yoga practice, attending all kinds of classes at Heart Stream Yoga, including ashtanga, hot yoga, flow, yin, restorative, fundamentals, chanting and kirtan. The results are astounding! As an MD specializing in weight loss and natural hormone replacement therapy, Dr. Odom claims that his yoga practice also helps to maintain his healthy lean weight. He is not quite sure how it all works, but loves the results. The camaraderie found at the studio is also a draw. You go David!
